The Fine Print
We love a £5 no deposit bonus, and we are pleased to be adding Fortune Frenzy to the growing list of no deposit bonus offers we have on our site, but there are some terms and conditions you definitely need to be aware of on this offer.
The £5 no deposit bonus has a 100x wagering requirement (meaning you’ll need to wager £500 from this initial stake in order to convert your winnings to cash). That’s a difficult task, but as this is free money and 100x is a fairly typical wagering requirement for a no deposit bonus we are in no mood to quibble.
More annoying are the use of a minimum withdrawal once you convert your bonus to cash of £20, and a winnings cap from your bonus of £20. So you either win £20 or nowt from this bonus. It’s a very odd setup and one we would prefer to be loosened.
More serious is the wagering requirements for the deposit bonuses. These are set at 30x, which sounds very reasonable until you see that it applies to the combined bonus and deposit. This means if you max out the first deposit bonus and have £75 to wager with, you’ll have a play through requirement of £2,250. For the third deposit bonus, where the deposit makes up two thirds of the combined total, the benefits of the bonus are very hard to justify. If this bonus is maxed out the player will contribute £500 to get a £250 bonus, but then have a £22,500 wagering requirement to meet.
Then, unfortunately, there is the winnings cap. This is set at four times the bonus amount for deposit bonuses, meaning the maximum you could win after wagering through £22,500 is £1,000. It hardly seems worth it.
Returning to the positives, Fortune Frenzy do provide a decent 28 day time limit to meet the wagering requirement.
Also be aware the deposit free spins on Starburst are valued at 10 each. Blackjack and Roulette games do not count towards wagering requirements.
A £5 no deposit bonus is always a winner for any offer. This fairly standard no deposit bonus needs to be considered as more a chance to try out a new casino risk free than a way to get rich quick, but that’s perfectly acceptable.
The Fortune Frenzy deposit bonuses have some good points, but the fact that wagering requirements are applied to the cash bonus, and that there is a fairly low winnings cap, makes this offer much less attractive. Still the first deposit bonus, with its 200% match plus £5 worth of free Starbursts spins, is probably worth doing.
Maxing out the bonuses in this instance is probably not the best advice. So, on balance, we give a cautious thumbs up to the Fortune Frenzy welcome bonus offer.
